“Zebra is exciting, bold and totally timeless.”

– Michael Kors
ZEBRA INTARSIA SHEARLING COAT

This black-and-white zebra look debuted on the Fall 1994 runway, worn by Danish supermodel Helena Christensen. Today’s modernized version features a handcrafted intarsia shearling bathrobe coat, black 8-ply cashmere pullover and a black-and-white zebra wool jacquard mini skirt. Zebra and leopard motifs have been a constant theme in the designer’s collections over the years. For the 40th Anniversary Collection Michael exploded the motif to exaggerate its effect. “I think every woman should own at least one animal print item,” Michael says. “My attitude has always been, go big or go home.”
